i am curious to study different systems to find the truth regardless of what people might say or argue against. (many people are angry with the idea of ophiuchus being including but i am one who likes to explore new possibilities for fun to see if there is any truth to it or new things to learn & to explore!)
the most popular system in the west is tropical. the older system is vedic / sidereal which came from india.
the unique system with ophiuchus included is pretty foreign but there is secretly some people who follow or believe in this system.
tropical & vedic will most likely change many of your important placements. this does not mean that i think one is right & one is wrong. i think they are both right in their own ways / they read different things & they are even read differently. but there is still truth to them. in my opinion i believe the tropical system is who we are in the beginning & the vedic does seem more about our future or evolved selves. people say vedic is better for predictive means, aka future, which would connect to my idea that it is our evolved higher version of ourselves. which is why we might not fully relate to it in our early life but might wish we were more that way or can see how it would be better for us to become, or will naturally evolve & grow to become more like it in the future.
i have most of my astrological knowledge on reading from the western / tropical system & way of doing things. i have found the vedic one to be much more specific & complex. i have gotten a reading from a vedic astrologer & they were amazing & specific at reading me. it was a special kind of reader, they followed a kind of astrology / style of reading a chart which involves a lot about our past lives. there was a special name for it but i forgot what it was called..
anyway, this page is for me to really explore myself / my own birth charts, to look, explore & take note of the truths i find or curiosities i may have.
